Shell & Floral is a Self Care Boutique dedicated to providing a nurturing space for self-care and wellness. My husband and I are self-funding this venture between managing our bills, working fulltime, and creating cherished memories with our children, so the hours are limited. Our collection is small but steadily growing, featuring handpicked and handmade items that bring me joy and aim to bring you joy as well.

As a therapist in training, I am committed to curating a variety of self-care items to enhance your well-being. Our current offerings include plants, books, crafts, spa items, and unique accessories. We are excited to expand our selection to include journals, craft kits, and meditation tools, soon.

As an artist and crafter, I create with passion but often find it challenging to sell my creations. However, I am open to crochet commissions and have undertaken various graphic design projects. While you may find some of my handmade items in the shop, most of our handmade goods come from other talented artists.

As a child, I lived with my mother, grandparents, and great-grandmother. I didn't realize how fortunate I was to experience four generations under one roof. Now, as a parent, I cherish those memories more than ever.

My family is filled with creatives. My mother (Susan), grandmother (Jeanne), and great-grandmother (Rose) were all artists in their own way. They, along with many others in my family, have inspired and influenced me.

From my great-grandmother, I learned the impact of creating enduring designs. We still treasure the pieces she made. From my grandmother, I learned to appreciate the beauty of nature, the joy of gardening, and the importance of sustainability. From my mother, I learned to value aesthetics, the importance of revision, the freedom of drawing freely, and the confidence to do-it-myself.
